Towing in the Dark: How to Replace Your Tow Truck's Headlights

As a tow truck driver, you know that your job doesn't always take place during the day. Whether you're hauling a car from the side of the road at 2am or moving a semi-truck from one dealership to another at dusk, having functioning headlights is essential for your safety and the safety of other drivers on the road. But what do you do when one (or both) of your headlights goes out? Don't panic! Replacing your tow truck's headlights is a relatively simple task that you can complete on your own, as long as you have the right tools and follow a few basic steps. First, gather the necessary tools and supplies. You'll need a replacement headlight, a flathead screwdriver, a 10mm socket wrench, and possibly a pry bar (depending on the make and model of your tow truck). One Step Closer

UGH! THE DREARY        Today I realized that I have a lot of potential right now. I have officially ended this semester of college and have decided to take the next semester off. I just have a lot on my plate right now even without school. My boyfriend is attempting to start his first tow truck company. WOAH!!! That's a big order in itself. He has so much that he needs to get done before we can even get the company officially up and running. For instance, we still have to get an office which by the way, we cannot get the repair plates if there is no office established. Which means he cannot legally tow anyone's car for money.      GREAT NEWS!          I decided to give my boyfriend a hand in trying to figure some of this tow truck business out. We figured out that he does NOT need a stupid PUC number in order to get the repair towing plates. YAY! That is one more item crossed off of the list. Now several more things to go, Ha Ha Ha! I love when I get to do useful things li

Hi everyone!  I just recently returned from a road trip to go pick up my brand new tow truck from Virginia. It was a long journey but one of the most exciting yet! I wanted to share some of my experiences with all of you and hopefully help to provide some useful advice on planning a road trip.  One of the first things I did when preparing for this trip was to find the best route to Virginia. This can be an exciting experience, but also one that requires some planning ahead of time. After mapping out the route, I made sure my car was adequately fueled, that I had the right supplies, and that my tank was full of water.  Next, I packed all of my stuff. I made sure that I had my activities bag that I could easily pack. Then I made sure everything that I needed was in the car and everything I didn't was out. I also packed plenty of snacks and a few extra blankets to help keep me warm.  The drive through Virginia was beautiful. I stopped to take pictures of the mountains and the forests
